I use Whitelines (mostly).

They drop the car about 35mm front and rear. They are hard then the stock springs but much softer than the Jap stuff you can get.

I took a set of RSR's off mine (see archives for more info) to replace with Whiteline for various reasons. I also fitting the camber adjustment bolts for about two days then removed them as they were causing my wheels to rub. If you want a set of those you can have mine for a very reasonable price...

Can't comment on other brands but I've heard that a number of poeple run Dow Max (SP???).

Not sure if this will be much help

I've done this a couple of times so no you won't have to replace anything.

But you may want to do some of the following:

Change the bump stop if they are the standard ones - perhaps cut them down. My car (came with) has no front bump stops but has never bottomed out. The thrust seat bearings (one per side - front) may need to be replaced. They are circa £15 per side from Nissan. The rubber spring seats may have also perished. Don't know price as mine are OK. You may also need new spring clips (used to attach hydraulic hoses onto the suspension struts) if you are a bit cack handed.

Afterwards you will also need to have your car four wheel aligned - speak to you local specialist e.g. Abbey etc etc. Usually around £60.
