Anyone have pictures of the nissan and magnum ones installed? These things would be great for the winters here, since we've got 4 months when it's pretty much dark all day long.

making copies of these will de- specialise the original nissan part and will take away alot of what makes rare parts so important to a car that will one day be potentially considered a classic ..

if every other R you see (and im not saying these lights are to everyone s taste ) has a set of these on it then we will lose the uniqueness of this currently rare option ..
I actually agree with you. Let me have a think about this.......

I understand your point of view but I don't agree, We should do all we can to make as much stuff available for are little cars, As this will generate prolonged interest in them, I used to be into classic cars big time and restored several over the years, But I found the type of people who own them to be far to anal for my liking  :der: .

I used to go to shows where they had cars that are just trailered to the show and back, Even saw an XR3i with chromed brake disc's for f*cks sake  :der: .

Hopefully the R will never achieve that kind of status.

thanks for he link. pods are function, not form. Try carrying a set of lamps around and fitting them in 5 mins between stages, without a pod. I know, cos ive done it.

Not my cuppa t, if they're for rallying then 2 extra lamps isn't really enough anyway for the speeds an R is capable of.

They look damn ugly imho.

Can understand peoples views about not wanting to copy them, but unfortunately thats the way business works, supply and demand, it's not as if they're some priceless Picasso. (And I don't mean the Citroen MPV before anyone starts )
