Hi everyone i was wondering if u could all do me a favour? If u know
of or are gonna visit a nissan garage or specialist garage that may
have shims in stock could you ask them and email me direct as to who
they are if they have.I dont really want to have to wait 3 months or more while
nissan japan get their fingers out of their a**es to send em.Please
note hiteq,dp motorsport and becker in germany dont have em.

Order a set of the biggest ones now then get them ground down by an engineering firm to the exact size that u want them, should be done in a day....thats what I did on my mates Starlet GTT


Now with Vitamin C!

Great idea!I'll go that way!

currently buiding a near 400bhp beast... My goal?Mid 11' at 1/4 mile...

You will prob be able to reuse quite a few of the shims aswell. I had 2 new valves and all the seats reground and had to only fit 6 new shims as i was able to swop the original ones about


Now with Vitamin C!

Do the shims from any other car fit? I know montegos/maestro turbos use them. Just a thought.

Nope.
