Sae 80 gear oil

I've been offerd some sae 80 gear oil for free.

Is this ok to use in my gearbox and transferbox?

im sure thats not synthetic stu or even semi so i wouldnt use it tbh
ideally you want 75/90

I will stick to the stuff I usualy get, no frills from my local motor factors. Its only £16 lol

I usually buy the Fruchs stuff from Opie; if it says "suitable for fill-for-life applications" I assume it's going to last for a while.
