4.62 @ Trax

Well impressed as all I had one was basic mods:
mongoose, k&n, plugs+cables, dump valve [:p]

Now its 4 thnx to 1bar boost (standard turbo),

It's going to be very hard to get a true 0-60 figure as only a few events a year actually time them and when they do,people question their accuracy.
The best way I can think of is either by GPS or fixing sensors on the car and driving through a speed trap. These are time consuming to set up though and would cost more than the £5 or so it costs at Trax.
Personally,I'm going to set up my AP performance meter at 1/4 mile events and if it's coming up with the same times over that distance, then I'd say it's not going to be far out for 0-60,0-100 either.
When I used it in VPulsars car at the Pod,it was overeading by approx 5% when compared to the timing slip,so I just knocked 5% off the 0-60 recorded which worked out around 4.2 or so secs. Not 100% accurate by any means but I bet very close.

Well one day we should get everyone together with the fast motors, hire out the GPS equipment and do 0-60, 0-100 1/4mile and top speed all in one go when its strapped to each car.

i've got an hks turbo timer that tells me all sorts of things.
how many volts the alternator is kicking out, 0-100kph, 0-400m etc etc etc..

so when i'm back on the road and re learn how to use the bloody turbo timer again, i'll let rip and see what time it "thinks" i have just done :)

Good idea Nad,but you know as soon as one fast car is fixed another one breaks  .
I think we'd need a fair few cars to cover the costs.Maybe something along the lines of the recent 200plus vs Scoobys day.I can speak to Chris Mann to guage interest.

did you see some of the times from that scooby shoot out ? quite a few of them looked a tad optimistic to me  compared to their terminal speeds anyway

We hold regular 0-60 days on an airfield in South Wales using a couple of Race Technology AP-22s, which are bolted to a piece of MDF and placed on the passenger floor.

The boxes were about £150 each. We had previously used over £1k's worth of Racelogic VBOX (same one as they use with the Stig on TG), which has GPS, but found it to give identical results to the the AP22.

I'm not saying they are 100% accurate, but they are consistent, and give the same results as the VBOX with GPS.
