temp sensor on head could be boogered and sending switch to earth which will give a false reading to ecu and keep fans constantly running
or
sticky relay not switching

Sorry Bob temp sensor on head your having a laught whats and where is that!

Head gasket is brand spanking new so i cannot see it being that i hope

there are 2 of them nick on the back left of the head (above the power steering pump), one sends the signal to the clocks,one sends it to the ECU and controls the fans.
