Pressing brake pedal & side lights comming on???????

Not sure if this is the right place for this but hey ho lol.

So yeah as the title states thats whats happening & i have know idea why!! The last time i was under the bonnet was to adjust the tention on the altenator belt. So does anyone have any suggestions? Ive tried searching but not much has come up releavent to what i'm after so i'm admitting defeat & asking for help;-)

Oh & this is my first problem post i believe lol.

Sounds like an earth problem clean all your connections to your lights get any corrosion and cack off them

Ive had this before, not on a pulsar. It was a single filament bulb fitted in a twin filament slot at the rear

Have also had this problem, dodgy halfords bulb and the two filaments were touching.Every time I braked it completed the circuit and flashed my headlights.
