It could be (and i have struggle'd to read what you have written)

The pulse sender in the transfer box,
The speedo/instrument cluster itself,
The delimiter box,
The wiring and conections.

Check them all

The delimiter is a box behind the Instrument cluster normally.

The most common thing to cause your problem is the delimiter. (occaisionally it has been the clocks themselves)
When my first delimiter died my engine would cut like you described.

There is a slight chance it's related to the clutch job, I'd check the electrical connector isn't loose.
