powder coat or paint?

i want to get my rocker cover painted, an im wantin to know what would be better? gettin it powder coated or painted?

be careful if you get it powdercoated, before they powdercoat it they normally sandblast them.
being a rocker cover, it will hold some of the sand until you start running the engine, then it may end up inside your engine!

thats what i was thinkin, might just get it sprayed to be on the safe side
