piston rings

having problems getting the correct piston rings for the pistons in me engine, first of we tried standard ones, to small, tried over sized ones from nissan, still to small

can any one recomend any where that might be able to help me

spoke to the guy quickly today think he said they have

0.05 or 0.5 stamped on the top of the pistons but no ther markings, oversized rings from nissan are to small

Does the piston have 54C stamped on it? If not, it's aftermarket, so could be beyond nissan oversize limits.

Measure it and find out.

tried to fit over sizr nissan rings, to small, no other markings on the piston

I told you Scott, take the piston out and measure it. I think you have 86.5mm pistons.
