Pillowball top mounts

Has anyone fitted pillowball top mounts to standard type suspension?

I have fitted tein to the front which was fairly straight forward however when I try to fit the Cusco ones to the rear the seem to anly fit over the existion spring retention plate and mounting studs therefore increasing the ride hight quite a bit! Is this correct?:?

Mmmh, normally, the spring retention plate would stay (the slightly cone shape piece directly in contact with the tops of the spring) and the original top mount would be removed and replaced with the new Cusco item ?!

Do you have any pics ?

The Spring retaining plate has the Strut mounting studs & plate welded to it

Will try and get some pics

Yup! top part removed but the plate holding the mounting studs is welded to the spring retailing plate so when you add the pillowball mounts they actually sit above the original mounting studs!

You may be right!!!!!:?
