Passenger window problem .... (not the usual switch problem)

Ok....

Got a bit of a problem with my passenger window. It will go down fine, but seems to struggle going back up unless you give it a helping hand.

My mate removed my tints the other day with a heatgun etc and he used quite alot of downward force when pulling them off.

Could this have somehow damaged something/mis-aligned the window or something??

Anyone got any ideas? As far as I'm aware the motor's still working fine, just the window seems to kinda get stuck if that makes any sense??

mines is the same mate - i just put up with it just now, im sure its just needing a good greasing

The motors do get tired. But firstly try some silicon spray or oil on the rubbers.

Try some bike chain lube on the wire runner and track works a treat ;-)

use silicone lube first of all....if thats dosent work you can adjust the window mecha little bit but you will to take of the door panel to get to the bolts....if that doesnt work.......you will need a new motor...but as always they aint cheap
