got stuck in 8minuite traffic jam, had forgot to reconnect my rad fans

oil was at 110degrees, water was at the little mark before the last mark on the gauge, basically 80-90% of the full scale

small amount of water had come out of the expansion tank

had to turn the engine off for petrol fill, hope the oil hasnt fried around the turbo bearings, only off for about 4 mins though


do you think any damage will have occured:doh: :doh:

I've had oil temp's well over 110°C in track environments and todays modern performance oils should cope fine.

As above, don't worry about it

I did think about what section to post this into! was a 50/50 between here and problem solving...

it was more the very high water temps I was worried about twisting the head, luckly I was only rolling along on tickover all this time and didnt boost at all

what a mong I am...
