MAF - to clean ot not to clean

Some posts on here say dont clean the MAF as it's "hot wire" self cleaning, while others say use Wynns carb Cleaner.

What do you reckon, clean or no clean?

(I'm re-earthing too as it's not been touched for 15 years but there are no problems, just thought it might like a clean once every decade or so!)

To be honest if there are no problems as is, then just leave it, re-earthing is always a good idea though.

I've cleaned mine with electrospray, and solved my problem with stalling. It was dirty!

As I've already said on a few other posts, just spray some carb cleaner over the elements, it won't do any harm, but then again it won't make much difference either, if it's already working fine.
May as well clean it whilst you're messing about re-earthing it just for peace of mind.
