lowering the steering column past its "lowest"

Hi all,

Got my seat nice and low, got my deep dish wheel but now the rack needs lowering past its lowest setting.

I'm sure I remembered someone saying they'd done the same.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Ollie

So you're saying it's a good idea if you've got the bumpsteer kit?
Well, that's a good bit of advice then!

Oh, so you're saying that the bumpsteer kit is a bad idea, but dropping the steering rack fixes it!?

you might have to move the rack up, down, forwards and backwards to help eliminate bumpsteer (moving it back would obviously involve a lot of work:roll:)

I've not really looked at a "bumpsteer kit" but if it places the joint where it is with the standard joint (and isn't adjustable) then it's a waste of money as it's not doing anything.:der:
