Losing boost

My R's boosting higher up the rev range and will boost up to a bar then drops down to 1/2 a bar. Would this be the turbo fooked or could it be a problem with an intercooler pipe or the cooler itself :?:

I had a smilar problem a long time ago.
I had recently fitted a dawes device and some hks plugs, went drag racing and it kept losing boost in 4th geard, then it started doing it in all gears until it just misfired.
I suspent it might have been faulty dumpvalve as it blew off the pipe few hours before the misfure happened. But i put the enging beack to standard and everything was fine again.

Is it knocking? Doesn't that cut boost to .5bar? Try an ecu fault check.

The dump valve is ok and the engine check light isnt on or can there be fault codes without the light :?: It was at powerstation that the problem was noticed and they said it was probably the turbo but I wanted to be sure before getting another one. It wasnt knocking Rich had his stethascope on and never mentioned it.
