Loads of smoke

Came to work this morning and after a couple of miles the car started smoking like hell ,big plumes of white oily smelling smoke that seem to get worse as I close the throttle. there is no loss of power and all is smooth

I assume that my oil seal in the turbo has died but can it go all of a sudden?

Also the turbo isnt that old (2 years) am I able to just replace the oil seal?

sounds like the oil seal has gone if its smoking coming off boost, ie wirh closed throttle.
dont waste your time and money getting a repair kit, just buy another turbo.
may pay to carry out a compression test first though to make sure its not a dodgy ring or ringland

I pretty sure its the seal as its done it before only not as much smoke and only now and again. Also I havent suffered any performance loss.

Do you have anything you can sort me out with bob?

Can you PM a nice price for me (regular customer!!!)

Thanks

dont forget that the turbo is water cooled aron;-) also with the cold weather you will get some white smoke anyway, so mix that with the blue and hey presto:-D
