Rite, im putting a new turbo on, just a standard t28, fmic, walbro 255lph fuel pump and going to fit a electronic boost controler, does anybody know of anywhere that does live remapping? Preferably in the north east

The Racing Line. - In Halifax... I don't think it's "live mapping"; it will be on a rolling road rather than on the street.

Lmfao rolling road is good enuf i just dont want someone to remap it by simply pluggin a computer in and downloading new software or whatever they do lol i want peace of mind that it will be running/fueling correct to avoid detination, is " the racing line a reputable Place as i dont know of any specialists really

matt at trl is very good & highly recommended, not cheap but then again no tuners/mappers are cheap these days

Live mapping is live mapping whether its on a rolling road or a proper road ;-)
;-) Live mapping is actualy on the road under real road driving conditions! alot of people use this form of mapping as it maps the car for outside air temps & wind speeds etc! but rolling road is fine!

if youve got a standard ecu fitted you cant map it unless you go for NISTUNE which is a daughter bourd that is fitted to your ecu. very good set up, or you could go for a aftermaket ecu!

I would personaly go for NISTUNE as it is a specific nissan program & has good results. for more info & prices you need to speak to Ed @ fusion motorsport!

With all due respect to Ed, you don't have to buy your Nistune board etc from him; you can buy directly from Nistune in Australia... but you'll have to sort the install and mapping yourself if you're not paying Ed to do it.

I've always understood it to be looking at and altering the parameters of the ecu in real time (IE live) whether that is on a dyno or on the road its irrelevant, its still doing it live.

Just need Ed to come on now and tell me i'm wrong

Well wot it is, is that im putting a new standard turbo ob, fmic, walbro255 lPh fuel pump and boost controler, will i need to get one of these daughter boards in my ecu to remap it or will it be ok on standard settings? Im not wanting crazy power im just wanting to know its running/ fueling right, wot else can i do apart from mapping it to check fueling?
