knock value to high or ok??

which is the best knock value when the engine run? so my have a knock from 33 up to 40. is it ok or to high? so what can i do when the knock must lower?

Anything under 50 is fine, the Power FC will flash the engine managment light if the knock reading goes over 60 you your figures are O.K!!!

u should never go above 40 on the power fc read out as this is the start of audible knock
also can depend on things like whether the knock sensor has been torqued to factory settings and if the engine is forged etc

It only does that because thats what the ECU is set at as standard....

For my safe map i've actually kept the knock to 20 or less...

Mine was only showing 40 when it died, best to keep it around the 20 mark max

I dont go on a 'level', as long as its random noise I'm not bothered. The thing I look for is sudden spikes or increases. The general noise level goes up and down with rpm, road noise etc.

ok, what can i do that knock is under 40??? so mine is most time about 30 - 35. 40 was yesterday and i have not change anything but it goes higher...
