Is it possible to spray paint silicon hoses different colours ?

Had to order some weird size silicon hose for my engine, and unfortunately the only ones on the whole planet I could find were blue and I wanted red to match the rest of the hoses :(

I want to spray them, any ideas which kind of paint would be best ? Obviously something that doesn't attack silicon or become brittle / flake.

cheers !

Ross.

Still waiting on some shims!
You CHAV!..

Well I'm sure you could use some sort of heat resistant flexi paint... A mix between the heat resistant type you would use on a Rocker Cover mixed with the type of flexi paint that people used on the shell of an R/C car...

Tape it, don't paint it, or get a new set.

Paint will always end up coming off, flaking everywhere, even the pvc/flexi stuff.

In a word, No, it's not.

Like Toby says the only way would be to tape it with a red self amalgamating rubber tape.

You can get silicone pipe covering tape. Not really that cheap i recall, but will do the job and match exactly.
