Inlet Manifold Vacuum Lines

I've seen the picture in the workshop manual, it's not that great. 1st question I have is, do all the vacuum nipples on the inlet manifold provide positive pressure or are some a vacuum all the time?

The reason I ask is because my boost gauge was plumbed into the nipple that's on the on the side of the inlet manifold, it showed a vacuum but never positive pressure.

There is another nipple that's on the underside of the inlet manifold, about 2 inches from the other one, what should be connected to this?

I thought they all showed manifold pressure, so both vacuum and boost. - If it's this nipple, then it should be giving you a boost figure as that's where the hose to the wastegate would normally be connected:
