How to go about getting 1 bar boost???

My car is still off the road as I'm waiting to get my big ends/crank fixed but when its done I really want to bring it up to 1 bar boost.
Just wondering if any of you could give me any advise on how to go about this? How much and where etc? Could I do it myself?

on the cheap- bleed valve/dawes device and an accurate boost guage, preferably with a uprated fuel pump.

best is a boost controller like the apexi avc-r and a fuel controller like the apexi safcII with an uprated fuel pump.

if you could stretch to it an aftermarket ecu like the power fc would be best, but probably overkill if you just intend keeping the car relatively standard.

most important of all is to make sure its set up/checked by someone who knows what their doing

appologies for jumping in on someone elses thread .i wanted to know how far can u turn up the boost b4 u need to adjust the afr (can the ecu compensate).. if not what do you guys recomend i'm rebuilding as well and wanted 1>1.2 bar

If you're both rebuilding,I'd get it set to a sensible limit at somewhere that knows the cars for peace of mind.
