Holding back

Hi my car holds back when driving I've done a fault code check has 34 come ba
Back which is det sensor should my det sensor only have 1 wire on it?

It should only have one connector, but as the sensor has two pins there should be two wires in the connector.

Well on mine there is 1 blue wire with a spade connector on it i would guess the other wire shud probley be a earth?

You should only have one wire. The connector is like the one used for the injector.

Yeah somebody has just put a spade connector on 1 of the terminals just need to find out what colour the other wire should be and what it does I've got just 1 blue wire at the moment

although theres 2 pins there is only one wire which obviously does not fit on the earth side.
as geoff rightly says 'its earthed through the block'
if you get a multimeter and put it on continuity then go from one pin back to the block ie earth then that will tell you which is the earth connection and which side goes back to ecu

I found that sometimes you can just clear the fault and it starts behaving again. - It seems to be temperature related in mine; if I spend an hour on the motorway cruising it's fine, but stop-start traffic and it will start to play up
