Help on oil pressure problem

Guys I'm having trouble with oil pressure -
Once I have oil pressure it's fine but as soon as the car stands for longer than a day it struggles to get oil pressure...

Is there a special oil filter I need to use or what can be the problem ?

Oh and I've been searching for almost two months now and cant find an answer...

You mean it takes a long time to build up when you start the engine after a day? How long? It might be a sign that your bottom end is heading for a rebuild or maybe a worn pump
What's your oil pressure when your engine is hot and doing over 3200rpm?
What engine oil are you using?

oil pressure is between 3 and 4 bar
I'm using Mobil 20W50...

I put in a pint more oil and now she get pressure sooner...

Most ppl use 10W60 like Miller's or CastrolRS

This is probably a bit thinner when cold so should help build pressure sooner.

Did u check the oil level b4 adding another pint? I suspect if you keep adding oil til it's full to the filler cap on the top of the engine your oil pressure will be nice and high For a short while at least :lol:

I've put in 1 pint more than normal and thats it...
I havent had any problems since - is it possible that the dipstick I've got could be marked wrong ?

Yep - it could be the wrong dipstick. Or perhaps the car wasn't quite level when u checked it?
