Help: How to remove solid pipe from standard catch tank to block

Happy new year guys,

I've had a bit of time off over Christmas and managed to get out in the garage and crack on with an engine swap on my white car thats been sat with its engine out since March!

I'm swapping everything from my engine onto a pre-built engine. It's going slowly but well, and I'm giving everything a good clean and lick of paint whilst i'm there.

I've just come to a problem though. I need to swap the solid pipe that comes out of the block just under the exhaust manifold and goes to the bottom of the standard catch tank.

The one on the engine i'm building up is bent into the wrong position, damaged and cut short.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Ben.

Ah rubbish. I guessed that would be the case but was hoping it wasn't. Cheers Dan.

Just for future reference how does it come out? and how do you remove the dipstick sleeve?

Also is there anyway of locking the engine so I can torque the crank pulley and flywheel bolts up? Or if not whats the best way of doing it?

Thanks, Ben.
