Handbrake issue!!

My Handbrake has shat itself... Do nissan do a replacement part shown below in my uber good tech drawing.. or is it just as handy to replace the whole part??

Anyone have a part number also.

I assume it doesn't make any difference that the page is for left-hand drive models? I haven't looked it up in FAST, but I don't see why it would be... I'm just suggesting a certain caution when using that site for parts.

Just checked the RHD model.. same Code.

If you click on the part number it shows you the models that use the part, ie micra etc, and also left and right hand drive..

I always check with fast before purchasing though as well.

I have similar issues with mine. Took it off and found the end rubber seal thorn and let water come in. I tried emailing some jap suppliers but none answered my emails (what service) . I managed to get the old one moving again to a decent level.

If Nissan are gonna take the piss, i'm just gonna get a 2nd hand one from Pulsarboby at GTI-R-US.co.uk He sells 2nd hand ones at £20

There about £50 a side from Nissan, pattern ones can be picked up for about £30

For the extra £10, I'd buy a new one rather than a second-hand one... brakes are one of the things that I don't like to cut corners with.
