Gasket

Hi,

Removed my engine the other week to work on the gearbox, couldnt remove downpipe, so had to drop engine with it still attached, used heat to undo the nuts, but the gasket broke up. Was going to buy a new one anyway so got one from nissan, the normal o ring type one.

Fits in turbo elbow fine but the exhaust is an after market one, pretty sure its HKS, and a wee bit bigger than the turbo elbow by 0.5 inch. Can anyone tell me where I can get one from, from the picture below is what I found on the HKS site and I need the top right one:

I have already contacted HKS but no joy yet. Is there somewhere that specialises in gaskets?

My downpipe is:

Bore dia is 3"

Any help would be appreciated,

just try any local exhaust centre - got a 2.5" clamp once.

Just take the down pipe with you to the motor factors and ask them for something to fit. You may need to adjust the bolt hole areas tho :?

Will give my local autoparts the job of finding one

Going to try Chester Exhaust supplies as well, if not then will make a paper one :lol:

Sent out loads of emails the other day to all HKS dealers in the UK, one company got back to me straight away with exactly what I needed!!
