fmic pipe work

is any body using there original tmic hot pipe(the one coming from the top of the turbo)on their fmic set up ,i have a hybrid fmic and i have managed to damage the flange that couples up to the turbo,i was thinking about getting a 90 deg silicone coupler to join on to the o.e 'hot pipe'and cut the hybrid one to suit...but was just worried about clearences etc once the bonnet is shut

There some kits that use the oe pipe, think the radtec does although that has a ghastly u turn in the run.
Can you not just get the pipe repaired?

You can get flange converters for those turbos. They change the outlet to a 50mm silicone pipe attachment.
