Fitting Mechanical Boost Gauge

Hey guys, I want to try running the 1BAR boost loop on my car - I have a mechanical gauge but I'm not entirely sure where to plumb it in. I know to run the loop I disconnect the two pipes on the solenoid and connect them together then fix the solenoid nipples to each other.

My question is - do I put the t-piece between the two hoses I disconnected from the solenoid? I think so but I'm not sure that'll be right.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry pal but my knowledge is very limited. Could you explain in a little more detail please? I thought the standard boost gauge was electrical?

Edit: Problem solved, someone helped me out. Now just figure out my hose route - I've found what looks like a way to do it through the drivers side arch but it'll be a pain in the ass wheel-off-inner-arch-off job. Balls :(
