feeler gauges

hi got myself a set of feeler gauges to set my plug gaps but unsure on the sizes im sure i read the best gap size was .7?? yeah?

on mine its reads

.003
0.008mm
is its the top numbers or bottom?
also i dont have a 0.007mm its got from 0.006mm then 0.008mm will i just go for a loose 0.006mm setting?

any help would be great

Metric plug gap should be 0.7 to 0.8mm.
If you are running high boost (>1.2bar), you may need to close that slightly to 0.6mm to prevent spark from blowing out.

Do not set it to 0.007mm that is no good... 0.7mm is a visable gap... not a bhohair!
BTW, 0.8mm gap is approx 0.032 thousanths of an inch if that helps.

my gauges done have0.7mm or 0.8mm they read 0.08mm is that the same?
im useless at this but gota learn

also im running 1bar on low boost and 1.2 on high boost but most of the time its on 1 bar so will i go for 0.07mm?

Mine didnt have a 7. Had to use a 5 and a 2 together.

Forget the 0.0x sizes.... this is too small.

0.07 is 7/100's of a mm.
0.7 is 7/10ths of a mm.
