engine rattle

seems to be at the front of the engine, and rattles when on idle, goes as soon as you press on the juice, did thing it was the large cog on the bottom of engine but now i think not

sounds like it could be the timing chain tensioner...mine used to rattle and chat away on idle until i changed it......nows its a quite as a mouse.....or sometimes the alternator makes a nasty noise when its on its way out....hope this helps
