Earth Point for the dash?

On the dash gauge cluster i'm getting a few errors which i'm thinking could be due to a poor earth (unless anyone knows otherwise).

The door open light is on quite regularly, sometimes flickers, sometimes off. The check ecu sometimes flickers on and off but doesn't come on as often as the door open light. The indicator (left) light randomly illuminates also (doesn't flash as it would with the indicators on). Also, the rev counter is sluggish, doesn't keep up with what's happening. When I turn the engine off, it takes 2 seconds for the needle to drop.

I hope these are all linked and it's due to a poor earth. Is there a central earth point for the dash?

The door light will be a dodgey switch down in the door its a common fault.

Clocks are common for needing new stepper motors in the rev counter

Could be a loose connection at the back of the clocks.

I've been driving it today, in the dry for the 1st time. The dash has been behaving itself, no random lights. I'm wondering if something is getting wet which is causing it.
