just picked up some coolant/antifreeze.
step 1 done.
the next step is the correct dilution, i dont have a bloody clue and dont fancy buggering up.
the bottle states to refer to the owners manual, being that these are rare, i obviously don't have one.
anyone know of the top of their head.

cheers all

as a general rule id use a 50/50 mix of coolant and water its wahat i do, but it doesnt really matter that much, just as long as its not all coolant!!!

as above. get a five ltr bottle or something like that and mix it half and half and shake it up. wouldnt go much more-aint worth it- can go a bit sticky/shitty otherwise.

Have not yet had to top up my coolant, so this is a useful topic.

With my RX, I have to fill the coolant in through the little metal cap and not into the reservoir. Is this the same with a GTIR?

Can someone give a quick explanation so I don't wreck it.

Cheers
