DETONATION/KNOCK SENSOR; WHERE IS IT LOCATED ON ENG BLOCK??

:roll: ECU CODE IS COMING UP WITH DETONATION SENSOR
WHERE IS THE SENSOR LOCATED ON THE ENGINE BLOCK :?:
ALSO, DOES THE CAR GO INTO "LIMP MODE" WHEN DETONATION SENSOR CODE COMES UP (ie: retard timing) :?:
any info would be much appreciated

lol i shouldn't let my mate post for me any more...

whats doing my head in at the moment is why im getting det code but the car feels pretty fast... (me 3 - wrx 0) :twisted:
it wasn't cutting my boost when it was on the standard solenoid, its not running rich or any of the symptoms commonly mentioned... -not that im complaining

can anyone shed some light plz?

will i be pleasantly surprised if i fit a new det sensor?

i dont wanna go spend 500 bucks on a new det sensor for nothin
