det sensor fault-HOW MUCH!

how do you check if the det sensor is faulty?My car is showing a 34 fault code and nissan want £200 for a new one!
Will the sensor from a sr20de fit because from the US they are only £65 new?

yeah, forget nissan ones, can get them much cheaper.

I got mine from another member for £50 new. Someone on here will point you in the right direction.

I'm sure lots of other cars have the same one, but it is critical to get the right type.

Ours are of 'flat response' type, have two pins, and have a resistance around 540 iirc. They aren't the 'resonance type'.
