compression

got my r two years ago. took it to p.t.s for r/r tune thay done comp test at the sametime. results were....1=185 2=185 3=180 4=185.
all the comp levels ive seen on the forums have been no higher than 170.
whats goin on... can any one shed any light on it for me please.
could i have different internals???
it ran 240bhp 202 lbft every thing was standard so i thought

i would`nt trust pts mate. re do the compression test and make sure you warm the car up first as this can effect things if it cold and do it at wide open throttle when u turn the car over.

Has the head ever been skimmed :?:

If its had material taken off it that would raise the compression

I've seen a couple this high before, but it might be worth checking it again.
