Ive plugged a consort tool into my car, and seems the co2 sensor is knackered, it keeps flicking from 1% to 100% all the time.

Would this be the lamba sensor causing this?

What effects would it give the car if it is knackered i.e poor aceleration, poor tick over etc??

If it is faulty it will cause poor fuel economy, tickover and acceleration should be ok cos iirc they are on different maps.
Your o2 sensor goes into closed loop on part throttle, ie. cruising, and the voltage output will fluctuate up and down continually.
You can test its closed loop operation by putting the car into diagnostic mode (same as to get fault codes) then start the motor, run it at a steady engine speed above 2000 rpm and the engine management light should start to flash on and off. Ideally it should flash regularly around 10 times a min or quicker at a steady engine speed.

8) trick eh.
