Direct fit? Maybe.
Made to fit, yes.
- I think (and I'm no expert and often get these things slightly wrong) that the S13/S14 has a slightly different bolt pattern so you need to "adjust" the holes to mount it... but that could be the flywheel.
- The more I think about it, the more I'm sure it's the flywheel that's the problem and not the clutch.

I know it's a different release bearing, so you can't use that.

The S14 clutches fit but i think you need to use the GTiR release bearing.

Pobody, it's the flywheels that have different sized mounting holes, the R ones being bigger than the S14 ones.

Det, whereabouts are you?

I think but not 100% sure on this that some s14 clutch covers may just touch a part of the gearbox casing when fitted and running.
I know my hks cover does and i think that was originally for a s14?
You just need to grind a small part from inside the bell housing.

"South Lanarkshire" according to his IP address.

I'm absolutely certain that you need the GTi-R specific release bearing, and I thought that the S14 clutch fitted... but if you buy the kit it usually comes with the S14 bearing too. I just wasn't sure because I remember people saying you had to drill something out to make something fit; that must be the flywheel then.
