clutch noises

my clutch pedal is creaking really bad but its not from the pedal itself, its comin from the gearbox, and occasionally when i change gear i can hear it clunking into place.[!]

also after i had to change the clutch hose cos mine was leaking, the pedal has got about 3inch play in it before it starts doing anything.

is that normal or should i think about paying a visit to ex-gtir in the near future?[]

Sounds like you havent got all the air out,your clutch slave cylinder isnt actuating enough therefore your not properly disengaging your clutch when you change gear[],my pedal creaks a bit fitting the group but clutch pedal bracket helped with its actuation.
