what causes the car not to go into gear first time with twin plate clutch recently fitted
clutch fluid is new,flywheel new,slave cylinder new
my mates new r wont go into first gear easily, once it goes in its fine, i checked all the obvious things above so am puzzled, i told him id ask some of the guys on the forum
what confused me even more was is that when i took the car for a little test it was going into gear fine, i asked if he has any gearbox oil, he said he replaced that when he got this reconditioned box, clutch wasnt slipping either
its an exedy twin hes using
told him to take it to the garage but they said it might just be the gbox oil
anyone else had similar problems?
ive not had anythign like this happen before, the last proble i had was with the paddle clutch when the pedal dropped, that turned out to be clutch on wya out as it had started slipping
when i took it for a test i pumped the pedal twice and got it straight into gear
