Changing Coolant - urgent!

I've been told that when you have to change the coolant.....you have to first drain the radiator and also something about taking off a bolt from the thermostat housing to release the air in the system???.........is this true??? and if so, which bolt??............pics would really if possible....thanks!!

There is a screw tap on bottom left of radiator, although pulling off bottom rad hose will do it quicker.

Bleed screw is top left of stat, has a little arrow pointing at it

sorry...........but what's the 'stat'???.........and at what point do you unscrew/bleed it??..........

You unscrew it before you start to refill the system with coolant and any trapped air will be pushed out! Just remember to screw it back in when you have finished! :shock:
