**center prop bearings removal - help!**

Ive established that one of the bearings on the prop needs replacing as im getting a slow noise at about 45 - 50mph and it sounds like something is slightly out of alignment. I was quoted £167 plus VAT for each bearing, but i need to know if taking the bearings off is a garage job or should anyone be able to do it - i.e. me!! 8) :? Ive seen in the manuals how to remove the prop, the hard bit appears to be getting the bearings off. Has anyone had any previous experience of this and what else will i need to replace apart from the bearings?

also would it be worth my while to do all the oils and seals under there at the same time?
