car missing

I bought my first gtir last night and on the way home it was missing. when i gave it some on the motor way it went then kept missing very worried any suggestions

id try plugs first then work your way roud

Read this thread and do a caode check to see if there's any faults.

When does it misfire? A set boost or a set revs? revs would tend to hint at an ignition problem.
If no fault code comes up, it could be worth changing all the bits RSNissan listed plus the fuel filter (I think he means dizzy cap). Turn it into a service and do the oil too.

check the dizzy cap and rotor arm mine were rotten due to water coming in througfh the scoop

Water in the number 1 plug well? It rained quite abit yesterday.
