bumper paint

does anyone know what the paint finish on the bumpers from factory were like? my bumpers seem to be like a satin black, i have seen a fair few like this, but also seen some with glossy black bumpers, is this just people getting them sprayed or what??

Mine is also matt-like in finish. glossy ones I think people have had re-done.

The bumper plastic when new has a very fine speckly finish which kills any shinyness.

Bodyshops either skim it with a little bondo, or sand it flat and re-paint, often with clear coat.
