tbh mate, thats the frequency most people hear the knock at when it first begins.
Are you due an oil change? if so you could whip off the sump and inspect the bearings just in case to avoid ruining your crank

any scoring and you may see that the white metal has been scraped off and will be down to the copper, or as in my sons caes his shell had split in three, he was lucky and got away with a new set of shells

bobby mentioned a good point of siving the oil through a pair of tights when its changed aswell to see if there are any bits of metal inside

I guess I have to take off the bearing caps!

Can you just take them off 1 at a time withought warping the crank?

And then just refit if everything is ok?

ebay, dont get you? gonna fix it, not sell if thats what you mean

so Ill have to take off the sump and the alloy oil pan I guess?

Its only got 60K miles on it, been using the best oil, never tracked it, but have been running 1.2bar for 5K miles

Try removing the top mount cooler heat shield and also check the turbo and manifold ones as well as the exhaust to floor gap just below the point of the drivers seat.

All possible places for resonating at those RPM's
