bottom ball joint

Just a quickie. If I put the weight of the car on the wheels will this stop the ball joint turning when I try to tighten the nut or do I have a problem :?: :?: :?:

If I have this problem,I usually put the car on an axle stand and put the jack under the ball joint and jack it up until the jack starts to lift the car,so the weight of the car is now on the ball joint :!:

Usually yes, clean the thread up and use some oil/grease/wd40 so the nut goes on easier.

cheers that was plan B, just wanted to make sure I hadn't screwed the ball joint before I put it all back together.
