just bought a full uk rally spec R, completely standard, wanna do a few things to it, namely put a bleed valve in the actuator line, where is it best to? inlet end or actuator end? (what is the electronic component in the line?)

I've gone the Dawes device route. Similar price but a bit safer than a bleed valve. Mine goes into the line that goes from the plenum straight to the actuator. I've bi-passed the boost solenoid

Personally I'd go for an electronic boost controler which can be had from about £300 (Apexi). However, I think Ex-Gtir on this forum does a nice little mod that will give you extra boost with less risk of spiking. (Correct me if I'm wrong Mike)
