battery over charging could it be my regulator

hi boys and girls just as above says really battery acid is bubbleing out and making a right mess . if it is the regulator were is the best place to get 1 from e.g nissan part number would be great or any info on problems e.g could be my alternatar

If you have a digital volt meter then start the car let it warm up and idle normally then test the output on the battery, with the car on idle you should be near 13.5v/14v, if its pumping more than this then your alternator is over charging the battery.

Make sure the battery water level is topped up (remember use de ionised water not normal tap water lol :lol: )

If the alternator is charging fine then try the regulater.

Id phone Nissan for a price then have a look on here and other forums for anyone selling one. Also Ebay may have them.
