No.

It could cause it not to start or the engine to cut-out randomly maybe, but nothing else, what's up?

i think it could be a contrbuiting factor in the problems i've been having with my boost being pretty irratic,i've had this problem since i've owned the car and whilst systamatically trying all other avenues of trouble shooting i.e, ecu check replacing det sensor, leak tests , turbo rebuild, etc, whilst checking wiring under bonnet i've noticed when my boost only goes to .5 bar, if i wiggle the alarm wires that i get my boost back....

cut the alarm out then and see most alams are very easy to take out! although i dnt see how an alarm could possibly make the car not boost properly!
have u changed the hoses from actuator to inlet manifold?

no car is running a greedy boost controller
Sounds to me like the alarm and the boost controller are on the same circuit... taking power from the same wire.
You've got a loose connection, and it sometimes loses power.
I have a similar problem with my boost controller and my boost gauge - every now and then they both go off... then come back on again. It's just a dodgy join.
