Nice but expensive! Makes me feel a bit sad to think that I bought an un-molested R with 60k, still fitted with de-limiter and carried service history only to remove interior, slap a roll cage and bucket seats in it and track it. I'd buy it to help my concisions but not for 7+K... you kidding!

That's why I bought 2 GTiRs :-D A *completely* standard UK Sunny GTiR for weekends, and a imported Pulsar GTiR for the track  Now I don't feel so bad! :-D

your missing the point here, that car will probably sell for near enough the asking price because its original and unmolested, its not been fucked about with or chopped and added to.

instead of slating the car and the price you should be appreciating it. these cars (good ones) will hold theyre money as theres so many out there that have been wrecked and dicked with.

look at the bigger picture rather than whats infront of you.

good standard cars are the ones to be looking for now.....

As that man said, half you numpty's are missing the point, original,un cocked with, full history. in years to come the car will be worth a fortune.... and i sold the sister car:doh:

And the thing about uk car's is that they are differant spec wise to the common pulsar and therefore rare, and collector's and the like in the future want the rare version of a model not common. it's like comparing a rs500 cossie to a normal cossie, essentially the same car (bar a couple of bit's) but which is worth more to a collecter?!

im not slating the car at all, not one bit ,like you say its a lovely unmolested car

but its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, our little sunny/pulsar does not have the same heritage as say a lancia evo, which a very good example will go for £25k+

there are no speacial rs500's so to speak in the GtI-R world,

danny you say colectors, even a collector will probably have a better condition car sitting in a lock up some where that has nt seen the light of day, with zero miles on the clock

i still stand by wot i said its only those with RARE UK SPEC SUNNY that think there special, the only difference i see is that there cheaper to insure,

im not looking or trying to instigate an argument, its just my opinion!

When you have had a uk and a jap car you would see there is far more differance between the 2 than just "the insurance". i don't think there is anything special about my car (even tho it's a uk shell) as it has been so cocked around with now and is no way original anymore (but the one i sold was mint and original with all history and would have been worth keeping as an investment ).

there is also the thing that the sunny is what the rally car was based on not the pulsar.

Your right about it's only worth what someone is willing to pay, have a look at escort mk1 and mk2 2 door shell value's,10 years ago they were worth £50 now a good one goes for £2500 and up from there!

for what its worth i kinda agree with both of you's lol

its a lovely unmolested car but think that price is right at topend of the market for what afterall is just a nissan sunny and you have to find someone to buy it which will be very difficult at that price (i personally would not pay that for a pulsar/sunny) even if i loved the things to death as i dont think youll ever see a return on your investment.

like johnsy said its not an intergrale or any kind of car with heritage which will carry on appreciating in value.
morris marina tc,s are now rare but there still not worth much and there much older:lol:

you cannot compare the gtir with cars with heritage.....heritage means everything where money is concerned

Funny that it's only the UK that says the sunny is worth feck all, a good sunny in holland £17,000, hungary £10,000,sweden/norway £20,000, uk feck all!!

And bob you have a sunny lhd shell that in the uk is worth nothing but abroad it's a differant matter
